KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – November 6, 2025: LintraMax (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian agritech company specializing in plantation management solutions, has unveiled the next-generation version of its flagship platform, Quarto. The upgraded system introduces a comprehensive suite of AI-driven tools designed to help palm oil plantations and mill operators improve productivity, decision-making, and sustainability.

Smarter Decisions Through AI:
At the core of the update is the new AI Assistant — an intelligent agent powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) that enables users to interact directly with operational data in plain language. Plantation managers can now query crop yield performance, production costs, or efficiency metrics and receive instant, data-backed insights complete with charts and reports.

The platform also features an Executive Insights tool that automatically generates analytical summaries to highlight patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities across the plantation value chain. These insights empower decision-makers to respond quickly and effectively to dynamic market and production conditions.

Field Automation & IoT Integration:
In the field, Quarto now includes an FFB recognition feature that uses a mobile phone camera to automatically count harvested Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). The upcoming release will expand this capability to assess FFB crop quality — a key factor in determining oil yield and profitability.

Complementing its AI features, the platform integrates IoT sensors in palm oil mills for real-time monitoring of machinery. These sensors continuously track performance, detect anomalies, and alert engineers to irregular behavior — reducing downtime, manual inspection needs, and safety risks.

Driving Operational Intelligence:
“Our objective is to make technology serve the plantation industry, not the other way around,” said Khor Kheng Khoon, Founder of LintraMax. “With new features added to Quarto, we are moving beyond digitalization into true operational intelligence. These tools help our users make better, faster, and more confident decisions that directly impact productivity and sustainability.”

LintraMax’s AI development team continues to explore new applications of machine learning and data science to simplify complex plantation operations. “We’re focused on creating practical tools that help users stay ahead in an increasingly data-driven environment,” added Khor.

Regional Leadership in Digital Agriculture:
Since its launch in 2016, Quarto has become the market leader in cloud-based plantation management systems across Southeast Asia, serving companies in Malaysia and Indonesia. The platform helps producers optimize operations, control costs, and achieve measurable sustainability goals.

LintraMax will showcase the latest version of Quarto at PIPOC 2025 (Palm International Palm Oil Congress and Exhibition) from 18–20 November at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
