Corteva Announces Board of Directors for Future Crop Protection Company

Corteva Inc. has announced the intended board of directors for its standalone, publicly traded crop protection company, which is on track to separate in the fourth quarter of 2026.
INDIANAPOLIS — June 29, 2026 — Corteva Inc. (NYSE: CTVA) has announced its intended board of directors for the standalone, publicly traded crop protection company planned to spin off in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Greg Page, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Cargill, Incorporated, will lead the new nine-person board as Independent Chair. Luke Kissam will join the board and serve as the future chief executive officer of the independent company.
Board Composition
The board will consist of the following directors:
- Greg Page (Independent Chair) – Retired Chairman and CEO, Cargill, Incorporated
- Klaus Engel, Ph.D. – Retired CEO, Evonik Industries AG
- David Everitt – Retired President, Agricultural and Turf Division, Deere & Co.
- Janet Giesselman – Retired President and GM, Dow Oil & Gas
- Jean-Marc Gilson – President and CEO, Westlake Corporation
- Luke Kissam – Future CEO, Corteva
- Nayaki Nayyar – CEO, Siteimprove A/S
- Christopher Policinski – Retired President and CEO, Land O’Lakes, Inc.
- Patrick Ward – Retired CFO, Cummins Inc.
With the exception of departing members Karen Grimes, Marcos Lutz, Chuck Magro, and Kerry Preete, Corteva’s existing board of directors will remain with the parent company. Luke Kissam’s board appointment will become effective at the time of separation.
Strategic Direction
The future company aims to build on its legacy of agricultural innovation while executing an asset-light, operationally efficient business model. The spin-off will focus on nature-inspired technologies and targeted market growth to capture high-margin returns.
