John Deere Showcases 5EN Specialty Tractor and Sponsors New Award at Hort Connections
Crestmead, Queensland — June 1, 2026 — John Deere has introduced its latest specialty agricultural machinery and technology at Hort Connections 2026 in Adelaide, highlighting new solutions aimed at increasing efficiency, precision, and sustainability for Australian and New Zealand growers.
The center of the showcase is the new 5105EN specialty narrow tractor, purpose-built for high-value, narrow-row environments like orchards and vineyards. The 5EN line features a 105-horsepower option and integrates John Deere's AutoTrac™ precision guidance system.

The display also highlights:
- 5ML Tractor: Designed for robust orchard and vineyard applications.
- Smart Apply™: Precision spraying technology that reduces input waste.
- Precision Ag Demonstration: Live trials showcasing the G5 Display, Starfire™ receiver, and Operations Center connectivity.
- 6MH 155 Tractor: High-crop utility tractor showcased on the convention concourse.

John Deere is also sponsoring the newly introduced Ag Tech & Mechanisation category at the Horticulture Awards for Excellence. The award honors practical solutions implemented over the past 12 months that optimize water and energy use while improving climate resilience across the supply chain.
